Paulina Tapia

Paulina Tapia is the head of product design at Sofía. Paulina was previously the product design manager at Clip from September 2021 to December 2021. Prior to that, they were the experience design manager at Banco Sabadell en México from July 2019 to August 2021, where they built and led a team of experience design experts focused on end-to-end product design. Before that, they were the UX design manager at BBVA Bancomer from December 2016 to April 2019, where they were responsible for people management, strategies definition over the portfolio projects for compliance business KPIs, and direct relationships with internal business stakeholders and external suppliers. Tapia began their career as a UX/UI senior designer at América Móvil from July 2016 to December 2016 before becoming a design strategist at Uncommon. People | Strategy | Business from July 2015 to July 2016.

Paulina Tapia has a Lic. in industrial design from Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro and a degree in industrial and product design from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Paulina also has a certification in UX Management: Strategy and Tactics from The Interaction Design Foundation.

Their manager is Sebastián Jiménez Bonnet, Co-Founder & CPO.
