Maksym Burlaka

Maksym Burlaka, Ph.D., currently serves as a Research and Development Manager and Lead Aerodynamics Engineer at SoftInWay Inc., where responsibilities include planning and coordinating technical activities related to turbine aerodynamics, conducting design and performance calculations, and enhancing turbine design software capabilities. Previous experience includes working as an Aerodynamics Engineer at Actual Mechanics, focusing on turbine design, thermodynamic cycles analysis, and technical writing. Additionally, Maksym held roles as a Research Associate and Junior Research Associate at the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute," engaging in turbine optimization research and providing support to PhD students. Maksym holds a Ph.D. in Rotodynamic Machines and Turbine Plants, as well as Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Turbines and Energetics, respectively, all from the same institution.
