Dumindu Senarath has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Dumindu started their career at KPMG Sri Lanka as a Supervisor, where they gained experience in audit and assurance services, performing statutory audits for investment companies, brokering service companies, insurance companies, and the hotel sector. Dumindu also handled tax services, including the preparation of income tax computations, filing income tax returns, providing quarterly advice, and handling appeals related to income tax and VAT assessments.

After working at KPMG for three years, Dumindu joined Union Assurance PLC as a Finance Manager. In this role, they were responsible for the preparation of the company's financial statements for the annual report. Dumindu also played a crucial role in preparing the annual budget and presenting planning presentations to the Board of Directors. Additionally, they handled the preparation of quarterly and annual Solvency Returns, which complied with the requirements of the Insurance Board of Sri Lanka.
