Dumindu Senarath

Dumindu Senarath has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Dumindu started their career at KPMG Sri Lanka as a Supervisor, where they gained experience in audit and assurance services, performing statutory audits for investment companies, brokering service companies, insurance companies, and the hotel sector. Dumindu also handled tax services, including the preparation of income tax computations, filing income tax returns, providing quarterly advice, and handling appeals related to income tax and VAT assessments.

After working at KPMG for three years, Dumindu joined Union Assurance PLC as a Finance Manager. In this role, they were responsible for the preparation of the company's financial statements for the annual report. Dumindu also played a crucial role in preparing the annual budget and presenting planning presentations to the Board of Directors. Additionally, they handled the preparation of quarterly and annual Solvency Returns, which complied with the requirements of the Insurance Board of Sri Lanka.

Following their tenure at Union Assurance PLC, Dumindu joined AIA as a Finance Manager. Here, they managed the company's financial activities and was responsible for financial reporting and analysis.

Currently, Dumindu holds the position of Head of Finance at Softlogic Life. Dumindu has progressively advanced in this organization, starting as a Senior Manager Finance in 2017 and moving up to Assistant Vice President, Deputy Head of Finance, and eventually assuming their current role.

Dumindu Senarath holds a degree in BBA (HRM) Sp. from the University of Colombo. Additionally, they have obtained an ACA qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. No specific start or end years were provided for either of these educational achievements.
