Yoones Vaezi

Yoones Vaezi, Ph.D., is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in machine learning and geophysics. Currently serving as Lead Data Scientist at SoftServe, Vaezi previously held the position of Machine Learning Team Lead at AltaML and worked as a Geophysicist/Data Scientist at Nanometrics - Seismic Monitoring Solutions. Vaezi's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Exploration Geophysics from the University of Alberta and a Master's degree in Petroleum Geoscience with a focus on Geophysics from IFP School. Additionally, Vaezi has experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Alberta and completed a summer internship at Baker Hughes.
