Alexey Cherkas

Alexey Cherkas has extensive work experience in frontend development. Alexey started their career in 2019 at AppStud, where they developed a mobile app using React Native and a website using Next.js. In 2020, they joined Bynd as a Frontend Developer, where they worked on developing new features, bug fixing, and integrating SSO. Alexey utilized technologies such as React, TypeScript, Node.js, Fastify, Redux, MongoDB, Cypress, REST API, Styled Components, Lighthouse, and Recharts. In 2021, Alexey joined Antalogic as a Front-End Web Developer, where they took part in various internal and external projects including a medical app implementation, PDF generation and managing, CRM development, mobile development, and team leading. Alexey used technologies like React, TypeScript, Redux, Material UI components, UI/UX, Styled Components, SCSS, Node.js, Express, Fastify, RESTful API, GraphQL, Apollo, Jest & Enzyme for testing, and Cypress for end-to-end testing. Currently, they are working at SoftTeco as a Frontend developer, starting in 2023.

Alexey Cherkas attended the Belarusian State University of Transport from 2014 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Alexey has also pursued further certifications. Alexey acquired a JavaScript Certificate from ItGid in June 2020, completed the Front-end/JS program at The Rolling Scopes School in February 2021, and obtained a certification in Node.js building architecture from scratch from Udemy in December 2022.
