Asli Ilis

Asli Ilis has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Asli started their career at ACLS Systems as a Software Developer in 2006. Asli then moved on to AVEA as a Software Developer intern, where they developed a web-based tool for data conversion and storage.

In 2007, Asli joined Siemens as a Software Engineer, working on an ITIL-based Service Management Software Engineering Project. Asli was involved in all phases of the project, from requirements analysis to development.

From 2010 to 2016, Asli worked at Turkcell in various roles, including IT Governance and CSI Expert, IT Process Design and Improvement Manager, and Business Analyst. Asli led process improvement programs, managed software projects, and led the Agile Transformation of software development processes. Asli also served as a single point of contact for service delivery and customer management processes.

At FedEx, Asli worked as an IT Compliance Professional from 2017 to 2019. Asli advised and led activities related to IT Compliance, specifically for SOX requirements. Asli performed controls, audits, and risk assessments to maintain and improve the organization's IT control maturity level.

Asli then joined Liberty Global in 2019 as an ITSM Data Governance Manager. Asli led the ITSM data governance team and implemented governance processes to ensure an up-to-date service catalog aligned with organizational strategies.

In 2020, Asli transferred to Infosys from Liberty Global as a CSI Manager. Asli focused on building a CSI framework and culture in IT Transition and Operations Teams and established an IT Process Governance structure for the organization.

Currently, Asli Ilis is working at Software Improvement Group (SIG) as a Senior IT Management Consultant. Asli leads projects to create maximum value for clients and translates technical and governance findings into actionable recommendations for a healthier digital world. Asli manages projects from contract to final delivery with a team of experienced consultants.

Asli Ilis attended İzmir Özel Türk Koleji from 1997 to 2001, where they studied Science and Mathematics. From 2001 to 2007, they enrolled at Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University, majoring in Mathematics. In terms of additional certifications, Asli obtained the following credentials: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in February 2019, Cobit 4.1 Foundation from ISACA in April 2012, and ITIL v3 Expert from PeopleCert in January 2012.
