George Avgenakis

George Avgenakis has a diverse work experience. George co-founded Shiplemon.com in 2020 and currently serves as the CEO. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at Software Improvement Group (SIG) from 2019. In 2021, they became a Fellow at Sigma Squared Society. In 2020, they co-founded Deliverback, where they focused on providing cloud services for the accommodation industry. George has also served as a Board Member at Loopcv since 2019. In 2018, they co-founded iqrate, which was later sold to a private company. George worked as a Power Electronics Engineer Lead at imec from 2018 to 2019. Before that, they were a Project Manager at Parklite in 2017. George has also worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at Quantitec GmbH and Kenotom in 2017.

George Avgenakis attended KU Leuven from 2018 to 2020 where they pursued a Master's degree in International Business Economics & Management with a specialization in International Business. However, they dropped out of the program before completing it. Prior to their time at KU Leuven, George Avgenakis studied at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) from 2013 to 2018. George completed both their Bachelor's and Master's degrees at AUTH, focusing on Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. George'sacademic performance at AUTH was exceptional, ranking in the top 1% of their class. In addition to their formal education, George Avgenakis obtained the certification of Certified SAFe® 5 Scrum Master from Scaled Agile, Inc. in October 2020.
