Michel van Dorp

Michel van Dorp has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the technology industry. Michel most recently served as Vice President Strategic Partnerships Worldwide at Software Improvement Group (SIG), where they provided deep insights and intelligence on source codes to improve the security, reliability, efficiency, and performance of business critical applications. Prior to that, they worked as a Sales Director EMEA at Apprenda, specializing in DevOps, containers, hybrid cloud, and platform as a service (PaaS). Before that, they held positions at Artificial Solutions, Genesys, Progress Software, and RDC where they held various management and director positions in sales, operations, and professional services. Overall, Michel has a broad background in technology and a strong track record in leading and developing strategic partnerships.

Michel van Dorp attended Spieringshoek from 1982 to 1986, where they pursued a field of study in Atheneum B. Following their studies at Spieringshoek, they enrolled at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 1986 to 1990. During their time at the university, Michel obtained an MSc. degree in Business Economy & IT technology.
