Paul Cooper

Paul Cooper has a strong background in software asset management (SAM) and leadership roles. Paul started their career at Grey Matter Ltd as a SAM Practitioner and eventually became the Head of SAM Solutions. At Civica, they served as the Lead Software Auditor and later became the SAM Services Delivery Manager, leading their team to win the Microsoft SAM Innovation Partner of the Year award in 2011. Currently, Cooper works at SoftwareONE Australia, where they began as the SAM Country Lead and is now serving as the Services Lead (Director). Paul has been responsible for building and leading teams, providing SAM compliance engagements and managed services, as well as handling software procurement services, technology services, and cloud support. Throughout their career, Cooper has been recognized for their talent in attracting and retaining top talent and for their ability to deliver successful projects and managed services.

Paul Cooper attended Coombeshead College from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained their A-Levels. Paul studied Business & Economics, English Literature, and Communication Studies during this period. From 2001 to 2005, they pursued a BSc (Hons) in Business Information Systems Management at Bournemouth University.
