José Miguel Porraz

Jose Miguel Porraz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as Director Corporativo de Softys since March 2020, Jose previously held the position of CEO at Sunshine Bakeries, where responsible for operations in Singapore and the establishment of a new facility in Malaysia. Jose's background includes strategic roles at Fonterra, overseeing portfolio management and directing the retail and foodservice businesses in Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam. Jose also served as CFO at Soprole, contributing to financial strategy and performance in one of Chile's largest food companies. Earlier career experiences include advisory roles at the Office of the President of Mexico and the Ministry of Finance, along with a research associate position at Harvard Business School. Jose holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Master in Public Policy from Georgetown University, and a Licenciatura in Economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
