Ryan Shuker

Ryan Shuker is an accomplished lighting technician with extensive experience in the performing arts sector. Currently employed at the Sydney Opera House since July 2022, Ryan has previously held significant roles such as Head of Production at Darlinghurst Theatre Company and Head Electrician at Bangarra Dance Theatre. Additionally, Ryan has been a freelance technician since January 2016 and has contributed to various companies, including serving as Production Coordinator at SunPAC and crew member roles at both State Theatre and Parade Theatres. Ryan is also a recipient of the LDI 2014 Student Sponsorship through Electronic Theatre Controls. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Dramatic Art in Lighting Design from the National Institute of Dramatic Art and a Queensland Certificate of Education from All Saints Anglican School.
