Wanyika Mshila

Wanyika Mshila is a dynamic professional with extensive experience in community engagement, fashion, and mortgage broking. Currently serving as the Community Engagement Manager at Sydney Opera House since July 2022, Wanyika also founded Wa-Nyika in May 2010, establishing a boutique accessories label that emphasizes “African Inspired” designs. As a co-founder of 2 Sydney Stylists from May 2017 to June 2024, Wanyika contributed to fashion and styling services. Prior experience includes roles as Brand Coordinator and Merchandise Planner at PVHBA- Van Heusen/Calvin Klein, Assistant Buyer at Specialty Fashion Group, as well as various positions in mortgage broking at Macquarie Group and Strategic Property Finance. Wanyika holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Wollongong and completed studies at FBI Fashion College in 2017.
