Candace Sanders has a diverse work experience in various creative roles. Candace started in 2014 with internships at the Cleveland Museum of Art and the International Women's Air & Space Museum. In 2015, they worked as a photographer for A Magazine at Kent State. Candace then became a creative intern at DoSomething.org in 2018. In the same year, they also worked as a graphic designer at Glyphix Studio, where they art directed exhibits and designed various materials. From 2016 to 2019, Candace held multiple roles at Kent State University, including peer mentor, peer leader trainer, and VCD sophomore sensei. Candace also served as a servant team leader at The Impact Movement. In 2017, they were an art director at UHURU Magazine. From 2018 to 2019, Candace worked in the TRIO Upward Bound Program as an instructional assistant. Candace is currently employed at Sojourners, where they started as an online/multimedia assistant in 2019 and later became an assistant art director before transitioning to their current role as an art director, overseeing the overall look of Sojourners Magazine and the online publication.
Candace Sanders attended Kent State University from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Communication Design.
