April Sandifer

April Sandifer has a diverse work experience spanning from 2005 to 2022. April most recently worked as the Director of Community Engagement at SoLa Impact since June 2022. Prior to that, they were a Program Manager at the South Los Angeles Transit Empowerment Zone (SLATE-Z) from February 2020 to May 2022. April also served as a Manager at the Urban Land Institute from July 2016 to January 2020, where they were responsible for developing and implementing the organization's work program. Earlier in their career, April was an Operations Manager at Loyola Marymount University from June 2011 to July 2016 and an Executive Administrative Assistant at Allied CDM from January 2008 to December 2008. April started their professional journey as a Tenant Services Coordinator at Equity Office Properties/Maguire Properties from January 2005 to January 2008.

April Sandifer received a Bachelor's Degree in Urban Studies/Affairs from Loyola Marymount University, which they completed from 2009 to 2011. April further pursued education at the same university and obtained a Master's Degree in Environmental Science, focusing on Urban Ecology, from 2012 to 2015. In addition to their academic qualifications, April also obtained a certification in Real Estate Finance and Development from the USC Ross Minority Program in Real Estate in February 2021.
