Overview

As the Sr. Global Marketing Director, reporting directly to the CMO, you will play a pivotal role in building and managing compelling content and global marketing campaigns. Your primary objective is to enhance brand awareness, engage our audience, and nurture our marketing and sales funnel to drive a qualified pipeline. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will craft integrated content marketing plans, develop captivating narratives, and shape key messages. Your expertise will be instrumental in executing impactful campaigns, analyzing performance data, and refining content strategies for optimal outcomes.

What You’ll Do:

  • Content Strategy & Development:

    • Develop and oversee content marketing plans, stories, and key messages.
    • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Partner, product and industry SMEs to build a comprehensive content strategy.
    • Implement publishing processes that align with the strategy, ensuring a seamless user journey based on persona-based segmentation.
    • Create, refine, and implement high-quality campaign content including short-form content, social media posts, marketing emails, and landing pages.
    • Draft, review, and enhance web content for various pages.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with executives, thought leaders, and subject matter experts across the organization to source impactful content ideas.
    • Develop and execute global webinar series to bolster brand presence and engagement.
    • Lead the development and management of a quarterly and annual editorial calendar.
    • Ensure visibility and alignment among all stakeholders to maintain a consistent content schedule.
  • Campaign Creation and Management:

    • Collaborate with marketing, demand generation, product marketing, and sales teams to devise integrated content marketing campaigns.
      • Provide insights and guidance on innovative content strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth.

      • Demonstrate a strong understanding of SEO best practices and incorporate them when appropriate to improve content visibility.

      • Create high-quality, SEO-optimized content across various formats, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, social media posts, videos, and website copy.

      • Utilize data and analytics to define key performance metrics and continuously refine the content strategy based on data-driven insights.

  • Team and Project Management and Collaboration:

    • Implement effective project management practices, fostering collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.

    • Manage and inspire a high-performing content team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and innovation.

    • Share results, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

    • Uphold brand voice and vision across all content.

    • Work closely with field marketing teams to translate and localize global campaigns for regional markets, ensuring cultural relevance and resonance.

    • Work with internal and external designers to produce creative and professional-grade assets that enhance the impact of our content.

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

  • Experience:
    • 8+ years in integrated marketing in a corporate environment; preference for experience in B2B SaaS.
    • Proven success in driving results-oriented content strategies for uniquely targeted audiences.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional writing skills in marketing and communication contexts, including copywriting, editing and proofreading.
    • Strong verbal communication skills, capable of sharing ideas across global teams.
    • Ability to intimately understand customer needs and translate company priorities and product features into language that resonates with target audiences
    • Proficiency in SEO, performance analytics and the ability to optimize content based on feedback and data.
    • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and incorporate digital tools into daily use.
  • Attributes:
    • Equal parts marketer and writer, understanding how content guides users through the customer journey.

    • Passionate and positive attitude, with a talent for effectively leading teams through innovative projects.

    • A storyteller who can simplify complex concepts with clear, resonant ideas and imagery.
