Anatoly Yakovenko

Anatoly Yakovenko co-founded Solana Labs in October 2017. Prior to this, they worked at Dropbox as a Software Engineer from May 2017 to October 2017. From July 2016 to April 2017, Anatoly worked as a Software Engineer at Mesosphere, where they were involved in building a distributed operating system. Anatoly has a significant amount of experience at Qualcomm, where they held various positions from 2003 to 2016, including Senior Staff Engineer Manager, Senior Staff Engineer, Staff Engineer, Senior Engineer, and Engineer. During their time at Qualcomm, Anatoly worked on the development of a high-performance Hexagon DSP off-loading software stack for next-generation applications, which was used by major OEMs such as Samsung and Google. Before joining Qualcomm, Anatoly co-founded Alescere in January 2001, where they led the development of SIP and RTP protocol stack components for a VoIP system.

Anatoly Yakovenko pursued their education from 2001 to 2003 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Anatoly earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science during this time.
