Shilei Zhang

Shilei Zhang has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 2009, Shilei worked as a Case Team Leader at Bain & Company, where they were responsible for various strategy projects for multinational clients. They obtained three promotions during their tenure, demonstrating strong leadership skills. Prior to that, in 2008, Shilei worked as an Analyst at Pohjola Corporate Finance and in 2006, as a Research Assistant at the Helsinki School of Economics.

Moving on to more recent roles, Shilei joined KONE Corporation in 2014, where they held multiple positions. As the Key Account Director and Business Development Director for the New Equipment Business in KONE China, Shilei managed designated key accounts and led a team. They also implemented a sales and pricing transformation program. Previously, as the Head of Business Development for the New Equipment Business, Shilei was responsible for strategy and business development on a global level.

From 2018 to 2021, Shilei worked at Delivery Hero, first serving as the Managing Director of Finland, overseeing operations in over 80 cities. Later, they were promoted to the role of CEO Nordics, responsible for Delivery Hero's operations in Finland, Norway, and Sweden. This position involved managing a significant revenue, a large number of office employees, and active riders. Shilei reported directly to the Global COO and had several direct reports, including CFO, CMO, and three Managing Directors.

In 2021, Shilei took up two additional roles. They became the Chairman of the Board at REBL EATS, and the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Solar Foods.

Shilei Zhang completed their high school education at Ressu Upper Secondary School from 2001 to 2004, earning a High School Certificate. Following this, they attended Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Master of Science (Econ.) degree with a focus on Finance, Economics, and Accounting. In 2006, Shilei also had the opportunity to participate in an exchange program at Michigan State University, where they pursued studies in Finance.
