Bill Nussey

Bill Nussey is an experienced professional in the clean energy industry who has held various roles in different companies since 2015. Bill served as VP of Corporate Strategy at IBM from 2015 to 2016, leading the strategy function for the company. In 2017, Nussey founded The Freeing Energy Project, where they hosted podcasts and authored books on the transition to clean energy. Bill also served as a board member at Clean Energy Associates from 2017 to 2022 and as an advisory board member at Folsom Labs from 2019 to 2021. Nussey co-founded Solar Inventions in 2018 and served as Chairman. Bill also advised SunCulture in 2022 and serves as a Strategic Advisor for VoLo Earth Ventures and Sunsave. Lastly, Nussey is a Partner at Engage and Tech Square Ventures, both starting in August 2022.

Bill Nussey earned their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University from 1983 to 1987. Later on, they pursued an MBA degree at Harvard Business School from 1994 to 1996.
