Lucas Sampaio

Lucas Sampaio has been working in the IT industry since 2014. In 2014, they were an IT Department Analyst at Hidromec. In 2015, they began working at Centro de Desenvolvimento de Sistemas - Exército Brasileiro as a Data Analyst and Data Scientist in the Data Administration and Analysis Division. Here they were responsible for cleaning, structuring, integrating and extracting useful information from corporative databases of the Brazilian Army. In 2017, they became the Founder and Board Member of Solar21.

Lucas Sampaio obtained an Engineer's degree in Engenharia de Computação from Instituto Militar de Engenharia between 2010 and 2014, as well as a Formação de Oficial do Exército Brasileiro in Ciências Militares during the same period. In 2018, they completed a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Big Data & Business Analytics from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Lucas is currently enrolled in a Mestrado program in Inteligência Artificial at Universidade de Brasília, which is expected to be completed in 2024. Lucas also holds certifications from University of Cambridge (FCE - First Certificate in English, obtained in 2012) and MicroStrategy (Analytics Architect, Data Scientist and Data Analyst, obtained in 2020).
