Josh Trewin

Josh Trewin has a diverse work experience in the field of sports science and data analysis. Josh worked at organizations such as New Zealand Football, solarZero, and Vancouver Whitecaps FC in roles such as Data Scientist, Sport Scientist, and Applied Performance Scientist. Josh'sexperience also includes founding Futbol AnalysR and working with the Canadian Soccer Association as a Sport Science Consultant. Additionally, they have served as a tutor assistant at Otago Polytechnic and as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Hamilton Wanderers AFC.

Josh Trewin attended John Paul College from 2003 to 2009. Josh then pursued a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science at Wintec - Waikato Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2013, followed by an Honours degree in Biomechanics in 2013. Subsequently, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sports and Exercise at Auckland University of Technology from 2014 to 2017. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Dataiku Core Designer and Hands-on Essentials in Data Sharing and Data Warehouse from institutions like Dataiku and Snowflake in 2021 and 2022.
