Sander Morshuis

Lead Engineer Hydrodynamics at SolarDuck

Sander Morshuis has worked in various roles in the hydrodynamic engineering and offshore industries since 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Chief Instructor and Board Member of D.S.Z.V. 'De Brielse Maas' at De Brielse Zeilschool. In 2015, they were a Marine Engineer and Intern Marine Engineer at Heerema Marine Contractors. In 2016, they were a Graduate Intern at Allseas. From 2017 to 2021, they traveled, learned Spanish, sailed, and worked as a Sr. Hydrodynamic Analyst, Hydrodynamic Analyst, and Jr. Hydrodynamic Analyst at Mocean Offshore. In 2018, they were an Innovation Officer at Young IRO and a Hydrodynamic Developer at MO4 Motion Forecasting Service.

Sander Morshuis has a diverse educational background. Sander completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology in 2009-2014. Sander then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Offshore and Dredging Engineering at the same university from 2014-2016. In 2015, they took an extracurricular course in Arctic Offshore Engineering at The University Centre in Svalbard. Prior to that, they obtained an International Baccalaureate from Rijnlands Lyceum Oegstgeest in 2007-2009.
