Process Engineer at Solaris MCI

Rohan Goel has extensive work experience in the engineering and energy sectors. Rohan started their career as a Process Engineering Intern at Solaris MCI in 2015, where they worked on projects such as the Encana Water Resource Hub and the Methenex project. Rohan gained valuable experience in creating diagrams, designing systems, and using software like HYSYS and Autocad.

In 2016, Rohan worked as a Pipeline Analyst Co-op Student at Husky Energy, where they closely collaborated with a Corrosion Specialist. Rohan developed an Excel Macros to determine pipeline stress and ovality and analyzed data to identify causes of metal loss.

Rohan then returned to Solaris MCI in 2018 as a Chemical Engineering Intern, where they conducted field studies and designed gas and air systems for existing gas plants. Rohan also worked on multiple projects related to oil and gas, learning from Senior Process Engineers.

Most recently, Rohan has been working as a Process Engineer at Solaris MCI since 2020. Rohan has been involved in designing LNG on-shore equipment and sizing safety equipment for LNG loading. Rohan has gained valuable experience working on green-field and brown-field projects and has collaborated closely with Senior Process Engineers.

Aside from their engineering work, Rohan has also served as a Campus Ambassador for Morning Brew, where they worked with the CEO and a team of students to grow the daily business newsletter.

Rohan Goel completed their Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto, which they attended from 2014 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended Jakarta Intercultural School from 2010 to 2014, where they completed their High School education.
