Pauline Wachira

Pauline Wachira has an extensive work experience in the field of renewable energy. Pauline is currently working as the Head of Engineering at SolarNow BV, where they supervise and manages the technical department and field engineers. Pauline is responsible for creating and approving the system size for customized projects, as well as developing project management standards and processes. Pauline also communicates with vendors and subcontractors throughout project development and implementation.

Prior to their current role, Pauline worked as a Technical Sales Engineer at WGES - W. Giertsen Energy Solutions. In this role, they managed sales processes and collaborated with different teams to ensure client needs were met during project execution. Pauline also performed cost analysis and prepared quotes for various EPC projects.

Before joining WGES, Pauline gained experience as a Solar Engineer at Premier Solar Group. Pauline provided engineering solutions for PV projects, including feasibility analysis, site surveys, load profiling, and design coordination. Pauline also produced drawings and specifications for projects.

Pauline started their career as an Energy Engineer at Center for Alternative Technologies Ltd and RIWIK East Africa Limited. In these roles, they focused on energy solutions and engineering.

Pauline Wachira completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. After completing their bachelor's degree, Pauline pursued further certification and obtained the title of Graduate Engineer from the Engineers Board of Kenya in July 2013.
