Philipp Kratzert

Vice President Research and Development at SOLARWATT Germany

Philipp Kratzert has a diverse work experience, beginning as a Research Scientist at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin from 1998 to 2002. Philipp then worked as a Device Engineer at Infineon Technologies from 2002 to 2005. After that, they joined Qimonda as a Lead Engineer and later became a Technology Project Manager from 2005 to 2009. From 2009 to 2014, Kratzert worked at Solibro GmbH, where they held the roles of Manager Line Optimization and later Director of Yield & Efficiency. Philipp then moved to Solibro Hi-Tech GmbH, where they served as Director of Process Development from 2014 to 2016 and as Vice President of Technology and Process Development from 2016 to 2020. Currently, they are Vice President of Research and Development at SOLARWATT Germany, starting from November 2020.

Philipp Kratzert obtained their education in the field of physics. Philipp began their academic journey in 1993 at Technische Universität Berlin, where they pursued a Diplom degree in Physics and completed their studies in 1997. Philipp then joined Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in 1998, where they furthered their education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Physics in 2002.

In addition to their formal education, Philipp Kratzert also obtained a certification in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from the Breakthrough Management Group in October 2008.
