Brian Schakel

Brian Schakel has extensive experience in human resources, with a focus on executive search and talent acquisition. Brian has held leadership positions in various companies including Solenis, where they served as the Head of HR for the Americas, and Miramar Global Executive Search, where they worked as a Principal. Prior to that, they were the Chief Human Resources Officer at Dialight and the Executive Vice President at Jobplex. Brian also held roles at DES Recruitment, Inc., Sunoco, Momentive Performance Materials, GE, and Cooper Industries Ltd., gaining experience in areas such as HR management, employee relations, and organizational development.

Brian Schakel attended Michigan State University where they received a BA from James Madison College, specializing in Political Theory. Brian also obtained an MA in Labor & Industrial Relations & HR Management from the same university.
