Simon Johnson

Simon Johnson is an experienced fashion design educator and professional, currently serving as an Associate Lecturer at Solent University, where responsibilities include leading modules and supporting students' career development. Additionally, Simon holds a position as a Visiting Lecturer at Winchester School of Art, focusing on sustainability in fashion education. Previously, Simon worked as a Brand Architect at Beyond Retro, developing sustainable fashion concepts, and has consulted for numerous high-profile brands. Simon's extensive experience also includes roles as Menswear Design Manager for GANT Global, where strategic collection management was a key responsibility, as well as leadership positions at Animal, FatFace, Ben Sherman, and Moss Bros Group plc. Academic qualifications include a B/A Hons in Fashion Design from The Manchester Metropolitan University and further studies at Liverpool John Moores University.
