Mattias Fjellström

Mattias Fjellström has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Mattias currently works at Solidify as a Cloud Architect for Collector Bank. Prior to this, they held the position of DevOps Engineer at Essity AB and Carnegie Investment Bank AB.

In 2022, Mattias worked at Knowit Solutions CoCreate as a DevSecOps Engineer for Stena Group IT, where they developed and maintained OpenShift Kubernetes environments and helped deploy applications on OpenShift and set up CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. Mattias was also part of the security-champions team, implementing secure code practices and extending the development environment with security-related tools. Additionally, they served as a Cloud Architect for an internal project that involved collecting data for business forecast using Azure, Snowflake, dbt, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.

Before joining Knowit Solutions CoCreate, Mattias gained experience at Axis Communications as a Specialist Engineer, where they worked on cloud governance and implemented dashboards using AWS Amplify, Azure Functions, Azure Static Web Apps, and React. Mattias also implemented solutions for connecting Axis network cameras to various cloud platforms and developed proof-of-concepts for ML applications and integration with third-party tools. As an Experienced Engineer and Engineer at Axis Communications, they also delivered a recurring course on Microsoft Azure technologies.

Mattias started their career at CERN as a Doctoral Student and Technical Student, and prior to that, they worked as an Information Technology Help Desk Support at Luleå University of Technology.

Mattias Fjellström began their education journey in 2007 at Luleå University of Technology, where they pursued a preparatory program in technology for one year. Mattias then went on to earn their Master's degree in Engineering Physics and Electrical Engineering from the same university, completing their studies in 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Mattias Fjellström has also obtained several certifications. Most notably, they became a Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert in 2021 and a Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert in 2021. Mattias has also acquired certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional and AWS Certified Developer - Associate in 2019. Moreover, they have demonstrated expertise in various tools and platforms, such as LaunchDarkly, GitHub, and HashiCorp, earning certifications in different areas related to these technologies.
