David Jumani has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. David started as an intern at GE Capital in 2015, where they received training in various technologies and gained hands-on experience. In 2016, they joined VMware as an Associate Engineer, where they developed analytic software, collaborated with teams on cloud native applications, and implemented custom monitoring solutions. In 2018, they moved to Cisco as an Engineer, focusing on designing and developing cloud security products, deconstructing monolithic applications, and migrating applications to the public cloud. From 2020 to 2023, David worked at ShapeBlue as a Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented features for Apache CloudStack, built enterprise infrastructure and CI/CD platform, and ensured security and quality in deliverables. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at solo.io, starting in 2023.
David Jumani completed their primary education at Clarence High School from 1999 to 2010, where they obtained the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education. David then attended St. Joseph's Boys High School from 2010 to 2012, where they pursued the Indian School Certificate with a focus on Science.
After completing their secondary education, David enrolled in New Horizon College of Engineering from 2012 to 2016. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science.
In addition to their formal education, David obtained certifications in different fields. In 2007, they completed a certification in Basic Computer Hardware from the Indian Institute of Hardware Technology. In 2013, they obtained a Certificate in ESOL International Business English from the University of Cambridge.
