Laurel Palluzi

Laurel Palluzi has a diverse work history, beginning with a Legal Intern role at SHRM in 2012. Laurel then accepted a Law Clerk role at ExxonMobil, as well as a Research Assistant for Professor Joan Schaffner at The George Washington University Law School. Laurel also worked as a Legal Intern for General Counsel, P.C. and a Legal Intern for Assistant General Counsel at TechAmerica. In 2013, they began working at Solon Legal Group LLC, where they held the roles of Executive Vice President & General Counsel, General Counsel & Director of Operations, Director of Operations, and Director of Client Relations. In 2015, they began working at Enova International, where they held the roles of Assistant General Counsel and Corporate Counsel. In 2018, they began working at Elastic, where they held the roles of Director, Senior Commercial Counsel - Head of AMER + Global Procurement, Senior Counsel, and Corporate Counsel. In 2022, they began working at solo.io as the Director of Legal and at TechGC as a Charter Member.

Laurel Palluzi attended The George Washington University Law School from 2010 to 2013, where they earned their J.D. Laurel also attended The College of New Jersey from 2007 to 2010, where they earned their B.A. in I/O Psychology. Laurel has also obtained several certifications, including Certified International Privacy Professional - US (CIPP/US) from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in 2021, Certified Information Privacy Professional - Europe (CIPP/E) from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in 2020, Illinois State Bar from the Illinois Supreme Court in 2018, District of Columbia Bar from the D.C. Court of Appeals in 2014, Virginia State Bar from the Supreme Court of Virginia in 2014, New York State Bar from the New York Court of Appeals in 2014, and New Jersey State Bar from the Supreme Court of New Jersey in 2013.
