Nigel Collinson has extensive work experience in project and account management in the games and technology industries. Nigel started their career as a section leader at HMV in 1999 before transitioning into games at Games Workshop in 2001. Nigel joined Electronic Arts in 2004 and managed high-pressure projects such as Harry Potter, SimCity and the Simpsons. During their time at Electronic Arts, they became a Senior Project Manager. Nigel took a career break in 2014 before joining 3di Information Solutions Ltd as a Senior Project & Account Manager, responsible for delivering technical communication in various formats. Subsequently, they became a Senior Project Manager and Production Lead, where they managed one third of the 3di business and the revenue it generated. Before joining Solsten as a Senior Customer Success Manager in 2023, Nigel served in Improbable as a Senior Technical Delivery Manager and Manager, Technical Account Management Team. In these roles, they managed 50+ accounts across the games industry, doubled team size, and coached and developed their team to increase individual capability and access new opportunities. Nigel was also an active member of Partner Engineering Leadership team, contributing to division management and departmental head in the absence of the actual vacancy for around two months.
Nigel Collinson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Southampton from 1995 to 1998. Nigel later went on to get certified in Agile Practitioner from APMG International in August 2016, Certificate in Bushcraft Leadership from NCFE in October 2011, and Prince 2 Practitioner from APMG-International in March 2012.
