Carlos Martín Álvarez

Carlos Martin Alvarez has a diverse work experience spanning a range of roles and responsibilities. Carlos began their career at Red Electrica de España in 2005, where they worked as a Market Advisor. In this role, Carlos was involved in interconnection management projects, capacity auctions, and supporting the operation team for the Transmission Grid.

After working at Red Electrica de España for five years, Carlos moved on to Prointec in 2010. Here, they served as a Project Engineer and Technical Assistance member for the Mutxamel-Campello Desalination Plant. Carlos was responsible for analyzing technical specifications, supervising start-ups, and developing on-site testing protocols.

Additionally, Carlos oversees team management, medium voltage maintenance, electricity contract management, and optimization of electricity bills. Carlos is also involved in contract negotiations and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
