Maria Jose Gutierrez

Maria Jose Gutierrez has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Maria Jose began their career in 2006 as an Auxiliar Comercio Exterior at Bugsi Shoes, where they remained until 2008. Maria Jose then moved to Sade Creaciones, another footwear company, where they worked as an Auxiliar Comercio Exterior responsible for managing purchases of raw materials and coordinating product development with American designers.

In 2009, Maria joined Eurener S.L., a solar panel manufacturing and distribution company, as a Responsable de Compras. Maria Jose was responsible for procurement and played a key role in expanding the company's presence in Spain and Europe through its franchise network and subsidiaries.

From 2013 to 2016, Maria worked at Albalingua, a language center, as a Gerente. Maria Jose managed the center and developed partnerships with European countries for study abroad programs.

Maria joined Treseus - Cross Trading in 2016, where they held the role of Responsable de Compras- Desarrollo de nuevos negocios. Maria Jose was involved in cross-trading of agri-commodities, livestock, petroleum, and derivatives, as well as project development in various industries.

Most recently, Maria has worked at Soltec since 2019. Maria Jose started as a Sourcing Manager, responsible for analyzing and developing the supply chain in different countries. Maria Jose then took on the role of Purchasing EPC Global Manager and currently holds the position of Strategic Sourcing Global Manager, where they focus on worldwide sourcing of raw materials, particularly steel.

Throughout their career, Maria has demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain management, and business development. Maria Jose has a strong track record of achieving objectives and contributing to the growth and success of the companies they have worked for.

Maria Jose Gutierrez attended the Universitat d'Alacant from 2001 to 2006, where they earned a Licenciatura in Filología Inglesa. In 2006, they enrolled at IES Las Espeñetas and completed a Grado Medio Comercio Exterior, specializing in Comercio Internacional the following year. Maria Jose also pursued further education in 2018, completing a Curso de Comercio Internacional at the Camara de comercio de Murcia and a Curso de Operaciones Triangulares at the Cámara de Comercio de Murcia, focusing on Negocios internacionales/Comercio internacional.
