Kim Phan has a strong background in chemical research and development. They started their career in 2002 as an R&D Research Associate at Georgia Pacific, where they worked on developing new products for the drilling mud lubricant market. They then moved on to Hexion Specialty Chemical in 2006 as a Technical Development Specialist, where they were responsible for testing and analyzing resin coated proppants. In 2008, they joined Baker Hughes as a Petroleum Fuel Additives Chemist, providing technical support for fuel additives and leading projects for product development. In 2021, they became a Senior Scientist - Chemist at Brown & Root Industrial Services, LLC, and in 2022, they started working as a Product Development Scientist at Solugen.
