Kim Phan

Kim Phan has a strong background in chemical research and development. They started their career in 2002 as an R&D Research Associate at Georgia Pacific, where they worked on developing new products for the drilling mud lubricant market. They then moved on to Hexion Specialty Chemical in 2006 as a Technical Development Specialist, where they were responsible for testing and analyzing resin coated proppants. In 2008, they joined Baker Hughes as a Petroleum Fuel Additives Chemist, providing technical support for fuel additives and leading projects for product development. In 2021, they became a Senior Scientist - Chemist at Brown & Root Industrial Services, LLC, and in 2022, they started working as a Product Development Scientist at Solugen. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in scale prediction and control, as well as product development and improvement.

From 1997 to 1998, Kim Phan enrolled in the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, where they completed an Associate of Science (AS) degree. The field of study for this degree is not specified.

Finally, from 1998 to 2000, Kim Phan studied at the Rochester Institute of Technology, earning a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.

In addition to their formal education, Kim Phan obtained the certification of Lean Six Sigma Green Belt through the institution Hexion Inc. in October 2007.
