Senior Developer, Devops at Soluta

Casey Bright began their career in 2009 as a Security Officer for Andrews International. In 2010, they took on a similar role as a Security Officer for the Texas A&M Health Science Center. In 2011, they worked as a Retail Media Specialist for Anderson Merchandisers and a Security Officer for Signal 88 Security. In 2012, they took on the role of Floorhand for Patterson-UTI. In 2013, they became an Emergency Medical Technician for American Medical Response. Finally, in 2014, they joined Soluta, Inc. as a Senior Developer. Casey was then promoted to Director of Development, Lead Engineer, and Development Manager, and finally to Application Engineer. During their time at Soluta, they were responsible for the migration of Insight, Soluta's main product offering, from .NET 4.8 to .NET Core, overseeing the day-to-day activities and long-term planning for the Development and QA departments, managing a team of six developers, and rebuilding the Elevate web application in preparation for the end of support for Microsoft Silverlight. Casey also expanded the feature set of the Elevate application from a minimum viable product to a fully functional clinic management tool.

Casey Bright's education history includes attending Austin Community College from 2012 to 2012 to study Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT), Utah Valley University from 2008 to 2011 to study Aviation Administration, and The University of Texas at Austin from 2004 to 2005 to study Computer Science. In addition, they obtained a Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification from the Texas Department of State Health Services in September 2012.
