David Bornstein is the co-founder and CEO of Solutions Journalism Network, where efforts focus on promoting solutions journalism to provide rigorous reporting on responses to social challenges since March 2012. From October 2010 to November 2021, Bornstein served as a columnist for The New York Times, co-authoring the "Fixes" column, which featured over 600 articles examining various responses to social issues. Bornstein has authored several influential books on social entrepreneurship, including "How To Change the World" and "The Price of a Dream: The Story of the Grameen Bank," published through Oxford University Press. Earlier in David Bornstein's career, experience included working as a systems analyst at STS Systems, where software systems were designed and programmed for corporate clients. Bornstein holds an MA in Journalism from New York University and a B.Com in Management Information Systems and Entrepreneurship from McGill University.
