Mavic Conde

Mavic Conde is an experienced journalist specializing in solutions journalism, with a focus on climate and agricultural issues. Currently serving as a 2022 LEDE Fellow at the Solutions Journalism Network, Mavic implements projects to promote solutions journalism among agriculture reporters in Asia. Through contributions to Bulatlat, Mavic supports farmer-led food production in the Philippines. Previous roles include fellowships with the Institute for Climate and Sustainable Cities and the Oscar M. Lopez Center, where Mavic developed climate action campaigns and produced stories on energy transition policies. Mavic has also reported for various organizations such as Mongabay, Rappler, and Climate Tracker, focusing on biodiversity, climate justice, and the environment. Mavic holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
