Bernt Andreas Eide

Bernt Andreas Eide has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Bernt Andreas is currently working at Solv AS as a Software Developer, starting in March 2022. Prior to this, Bernt worked at Bouvet ASA as a Software Development Consultant from April 2021 to March 2022. In this role, they were involved in full-stack development primarily using ASP.NET MVC with Razor and Typescript. Bernt Andreas also developed several APIs hosted in the cloud and utilized various Azure tools for metrics analysis, such as Azure Data Lakes, Identity, and Data Factory. Additionally, Bernt used Python and PySpark (using Azure Synapse) to develop utility tools and process big data.

Before joining Bouvet ASA, Bernt was the Co-Founder and Lead Programmer at Reperio Studios, starting in November 2013 and continuing until March 2022. At Reperio Studios, they focused on tools programming mainly in C# .NET Framework 4.0. Bernt Andreas also worked on gameplay, UI, and AI programming using C/C++ 98/11. One of their notable achievements was integrating the FMOD Sound System to enable dynamic background music that can run independently of the main thread.

Bernt also has experience at SEAM, where they worked as an Automatician from March 2015 to July 2015 and as an Apprentice - Automation from August 2013 to February 2015.

Bernt Andreas Eide has a diverse education history. Bernt Andreas started their educational journey at Karmsund Videregående, where they pursued a high school degree in Electronics from 2010 to 2011. Bernt Andreas then continued their studies at Åkrehamn Videregående, specializing in Automation. Bernt completed their VG2 Automation high school degree in 2011 and their VG3 Automation high school degree in 2012.

Afterward, Bernt enrolled at Lærling - Automasjon for an apprenticeship in Automation from 2013 to 2015. This hands-on experience provided him with practical knowledge in the field. Following the completion of their apprenticeship, Bernt proceeded to the University of Stavanger, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Bernt Andreas attended the university from 2016 to 2019.

Building upon their bachelor's education, Bernt furthered their academic journey by pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Stavanger from 2019 to 2021. Throughout their educational endeavors, Bernt developed a strong foundation in the field of Computer Science and Automation, combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills.
