Derek Arrotta

Derek A. is an experienced Scheduler at SOLV Energy, managing schedules for multiple projects across the Midwest and Southwest while supporting Senior Superintendents and field teams. Previously, Derek worked as a Validation Engineer at XL Fleet, collaborating with design teams to develop effective test procedures and gaining hands-on experience with test equipment on vehicles. Prior to that, Derek enhanced skills in software engineering through a program at Thinkful. With extensive experience at General Motors as a Validation Engineer, Derek specialized in hybrid and electric battery testing at the largest battery testing facility. Early career experience includes a role as a Chemical Researcher at Kyron Environmental, where Derek conducted exposure assessments. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Idaho and an Associate of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Idaho College.
