Ricardo Capanema

Ricardo Capanema has extensive experience in the mining solutions industry. Ricardo began their career at CYTEC INDUSTRIES as a Regional Sales Manager from 1999 to 2007. Ricardo then joined Cytec in 2008 and held various roles such as Global Marketing Manager, Regional Sales Director, and Global Sales Director for Mineral Processing until 2015. Since 2016, they have been with Solvay, where they have held positions such as Global Business Director for Mineral Processing and Global Marketing Director. Currently, they are the Global Marketing and Business Development Director for Mining Solutions at Solvay. Ricardo has been responsible for formulating and implementing strategies, managing global teams, and overseeing the business's P&L.

Ricardo Capanema earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais from 1994 to 1999. Ricardo also obtained an MBA in Strategic Management during the same period. Additionally, they received a certification from CrossKnowledge's Leadership Academy - ACCELERATE PROGRAM in 2022.
