Hermann J. Frings

Hermann J. Frings has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Hermann J. currently holds the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Solvias, a contract research, development, and manufacturing organization. In this position, they oversee various departments including finance, controlling, legal, procurement, IT, customer service, and sales support. Additionally, they serve as the CEO of Solvias Inc.

Prior to their current role, Frings worked as the Group CFO at PharmaLex, a pharmaceutical consulting and services company. Here, they led the finance, controlling, and procurement departments, as well as the IT division. Hermann J. was responsible for implementing cutting-edge structures and processes, as well as integrating newly acquired businesses through M&A processes.

Frings also served as the Group CFO at epsotech, a company specializing in polymer solutions, and as the Group CFO at PharmaZell Group & Wild River Corp., an international pharmaceutical manufacturing company. At Synthomer Group, they held the position of Vice President Finance & CFO EMEA, and at Kemira Germany GmbH, they took on various roles including Director Finance EMEA Continental and Managing Director/acting Head of Finance.

Frings gained valuable experience in controlling and finance early in their career while working as a Manager Controlling at Goodyear Dunlop Tires Germany GmbH. Their responsibilities included overseeing credit, finance, and sales controlling, financial reporting, analysis of business results, and collaboration with internal auditors and external auditors. During their time at Goodyear, they also successfully led projects focused on improving profitability and implementing SAP systems.

In addition, Frings worked at Cargill Deutschland GmbH as a Controller for Cargill Starches & Sweeteners Europe and at ADDON Distribution GmbH as an Assistant Manager and Prokurist.

Throughout their career, Frings has demonstrated expertise in finance, controlling, strategic planning, pricing, M&A, and implementing new systems. Hermann J. has experience working in various global and emerging companies in the pharmaceutical, chemical, and manufacturing industries.

Hermann J. Frings pursued their education from 1987 to 1993 at Universität Siegen, where they obtained a degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften. Hermann J. completed their studies with a Diplom Kaufmann qualification.
