Jamilu Usman

Jamilu Usman began their work experience in 2021 at FPT Software, where they held the positions of Cloud Engineer and DevOps Engineer. As a Cloud Engineer, they were responsible for creating a serverless environment using various AWS services, configuring and provisioning micro-services and instances on the AWS Cloud Platform, and monitoring resources and applications using AWS CloudWatch. Jamilu also wrote CloudFormation Templates to build AWS services and provisioned network infrastructures within Virtual Private Clouds. In their role as a DevOps Engineer, Jamilu mirrored source code from Bitbucket to AWS CodeCommit, set up Bitbucket pipelines for code syncing, and worked with Terraform to create stacks in AWS and Azure. Jamilu also configured Jenkins builds for continuous integration and delivery and troubleshooted cloud and DevOps-related problems for clients. Jamilu joined Solytic in 2023 as a DevOps Engineer.

Jamilu Usman obtained a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from FPT University during the period of 2019 to 2021. Prior to this, from 2012 to 2016, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Sikkim Manipal University - Distance Education. Additionally, Jamilu holds a certificate in Data Modeling/Warehousing and Database Administration from ipmc, although the years of completion are not specified.
