Hamzah Amer

Hamzah Amer has been working in the software engineering industry since 2018. In 2018, they worked as a Freelance Web Developer for Hamzahamer.com, where they created interactive and responsive websites for local clients using HTML5/CSS3 and JavaScript. In 2019, they joined Spathe Systems as a Jr Software Developer, where they developed single-page MVP applications in Vue.js and Python for SOCOM at Mcdill Airforce Base in Tampa, FL. Also in 2019, they joined SOMA Global as a Software Engineer, where they supported and expanded the SOMA public safety platform using React.js/Redux, Golang, Swift, and React Native. Hamzah was later promoted to Senior Software Engineer and then to Director of Engineering, where they provided technical guidance to engineering teams through bi-weekly one-on-ones and identified new organizational objectives through goals and strategies.

Hamzah Amer obtained their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Florida between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's degree in AA from St. Petersburg College between 2016 and 2018.
