Bruce Silverman

Bruce Silverman has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Bruce founded and served as President of Nephrology Specialists PC in Richmond, VA from July 1989 to May 2016. In August 2019, they joined both Dane Street and Management Solutions Consulting Group as a Medical Reviewer and Medical Consultant respectively. Most recently, in July 2020, they became the Medical Director at Somatus.

Bruce Silverman has an education history that includes multiple degrees and specializations. Bruce earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Chemistry from Emory University from 1974 to 1978. After completing their undergraduate studies, they attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine from 1978 to 1982, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a focus on Medicine. Following this, from 1982 to 1983, they completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. Bruce continued their medical training at the same institution, completing their residency in Internal Medicine from 1983 to 1985. To further specialize in their field, they pursued a Fellowship in Nephrology at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine from 1987 to 1989.
