Registered Nurse Care Manager at Somatus

Emily Morey has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Emily is currently working as a Registered Nurse Care Manager at Somatus since September 2022. Previously, they served as a Clinical Coordinator for Women's Health at InterMed, P.A. from June 2021 to July 2022. Emily also worked as an RN Lead for a COVID Vaccine Clinic from March 2021 to June 2021 and as a Clinical Assistant RN in Dermatology from September 2019 to March 2021, both at InterMed, P.A.

Prior to that, Emily worked at Fresenius Medical Care North America as a Team Lead RN from October 2016 to February 2021. Emily was responsible for providing life-sustaining treatment to patients with end-stage renal disease. Emily also served as a Staff RN at the same company, where they initiated dialysis treatments, monitored patients, and ensured thorough and accurate documentation.

Emily started their career as a Charge Nurse at the Barron Center, City of Portland, ME from April 2014 to October 2015. Before that, they worked as a Stock Crew member at Hannaford Supermarkets from June 2012 to October 2013. Emily gained experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Genesis HealthCare from February 2010 to August 2011.

Additionally, Emily has held various roles earlier in their career. Emily worked as a Crew Leader at Burger King Corporation from December 2008 to May 2010. Emily also served as a Distribution Center Associate at Olympia Sports from May 2007 to March 2009 and as a Temporary Staffer at Rock Coast Personnel from May 2006 to May 2007. Emily began their professional journey as a Receiver/Department Manager at Walmart from May 2004 to April 2006.

Emily Morey obtained a high school diploma from Windham High School from 1998 to 2001. Following that, they attended the University of Southern Maine from 2002 to 2003, where they pursued an undeclared field of study with a focus on liberal arts. Later, from 2010 to 2013, they attended Southern Maine Community College and earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse.

In terms of certifications, Emily obtained the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association in May 2022. Additionally, they received their Registered Nurse certification from the Maine State Board of Nursing in January 2014.
