Rameesha Mehboob has a diverse range of work experience. In 2016, they worked as a Data Analyst and Survey Design Assistant at the Centre of Economic Research (CERP). Later that year, they served as a Teaching Assistant at the Lahore University of Management Sciences. In 2018, they joined Women's World Banking as a Research Analyst. Rameesha then worked as a Consultant at the World Bank Group, where they conducted a literature review to measure the economic cost of exclusion in Uruguay. In the same year, they became a Consultant at OECD - OCDE, focusing on policy analysis and economic growth initiatives in the United States. In 2018, they also started working at the University of Maryland as a Graduate Assistant, where they provided teaching and research assistance. Their role expanded to Lecturer in 2020, where they taught a hands-on undergraduate course on fundraising principles and developed a fundraising strategy for the Department of Communication. Currently, since 2021, they have been working as a Senior Data Analyst at Somatus.

Rameesha Mehboob has obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Lahore University of Management Sciences. Rameesha has also completed a Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis from the University of Maryland.
