E. Carla Cowling

E. Carla Cowling has extensive experience in administrative and management roles, currently serving as an Executive Administrative Assistant at United Ability since September 2017, alongside responsibilities as Office Coordinator and Assistant to the Executive Team. Carla has also managed restaurant operations at Somerby at St. Vincent's One Ninete, leading a team of Supervisors and servers to achieve high resident satisfaction in an upscale retirement community. Previous positions include Executive Assistant at St. Vincent’s Health System, where organizational and confidentiality skills were vital, and Administrative Assistant to CFO and COO at Gadsden Regional Medical Center, supporting high-level executives with complex tasks and reporting. Earlier experience as City Clerk for the City of Demopolis involved oversight of municipal functions and budget preparation. Carla earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Jacksonville State University.
