Claire Fernandez serves as the Executive Director of European Digital Rights since November 2018, where responsibilities include organizational leadership, strategic planning, budget management, and human resources oversight. Additionally, Claire has been a Member of the Supervisory Board for SOMO since May 2022. Previously, Claire held roles at the European Network Against Racism (ENAR) from 2013 to 2018, advancing to Deputy Director, Programmes, focusing on policy development and advocacy. Claire's extensive experience includes consultancy and advisory positions at Open Society Foundations, OSCE, and the Council of Europe, with a strong emphasis on human rights, minority rights, and anti-discrimination initiatives. Claire holds a Master's degree in Human Rights from Université Robert Schuman and multiple degrees in International Relations and Law.
