Chris Steinbach

Chris Steinbach has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. Chris started their career at Insurance Services Office as an Actuarial Associate in 1990. Chris then joined Swiss Reinsurance Company in 1993, where they progressed to become a Special Lines Actuary responsible for pricing various lines of business in North and South America. In 2003, Chris moved to The Navigators Group, Inc. as a Group Chief Actuary, leading the actuarial department and overseeing all actuarial functions. Chris joined Chartis in 2009 as the Chief Actuary of Global Marine & Energy, where they built the pricing function for the company's global book of Marine & Energy insurance. Chris then joined AIG in 2012 as the Chief Pricing Actuary for Global Specialty Lines and later became the Head of Pricing for Global Financial Lines. Currently, Chris works at Sompo International as the Head of Pricing for US Insurance, a position they have held since 2019. Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated expertise in pricing, reserving, and regulatory compliance.
