Peter Stephens

Peter Stephens has extensive experience in the professional indemnity insurance industry. Peter currently holds the position of SVP, Head of Professional Indemnity, London Market at Sompo International since April 2023. Before that, they served as Deputy Head, Professional Indemnity at the same company from February 2022 to April 2023. Prior to joining Sompo International, Peter worked at Allied World as AVP Professional Lines, E&O from May 2011 to November 2018. Peter was responsible for transitioning the book from an excess-only to a primary lead market. Before that, Peter worked as a Senior Underwriter, Professional Indemnity at AIG from February 2009 to May 2011, and as an Underwriter, Professional Indemnity at RSA from January 2006 to February 2009. Peter started their career as a Junior Clerk at 11 Stone Buildings in May 2005.

Peter Stephens attended Bexley Grammar School but did not obtain a degree from there. Peter then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree at the University of Kent from 2002 to 2005, focusing on Business Administration and Management.
