Tim Champagne

Tim Champagne has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Their most recent position is at Sompo International, where they hold the role of Vice President - Surety since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Zurich North America for almost a decade, starting as an Account Executive in February 2001 and later becoming a Vice President / Senior Underwriting Officer in July 2017. Tim also served as a Senior Account Executive at Zurich from June 2014 to July 2017. Before joining Zurich, Tim worked as a Bond Manager at Berkley Surety Group, LLC from January 2010 to June 2014. Tim started their career as a Surety Underwriter at Travelers Insurance in August 1998 and later moved on to become a Research Analyst at Prudential Financial from November 1996 to January 1998. Their earliest known role was as a Correspondence Rep at AIM Investment Services from December 1994 to November 1996.

Tim Champagne graduated from the University of Houston in 1994 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications including "Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers," "Leading with Stories," and "Time Management Fundamentals" from LinkedIn in the year 2022.
